Differences in mandibular morphology between bruxism and non-bruxism patients based on the Levandoski analysis

Bruxism is a condition that involves grinding and clenching which can place large load on the mandible, so it change morphology of mandible. Based Levandoski analysis, this study aimed to determine whether there are differences in mandibular between bruxism non-bruxism patients. This was cross-sectional analytic conducted panoramic radiographic samples patients with total sample 30 (n = 30) each group, obtained from archives at Radiology Installation RSGM Universitas Padjadjaran have been confirmed as Measurements were carried out using ImageJ software based reference lines by Levandoski. The results analyzed SPSS performing normality homogeneity tests, followed statistically independent t-test or Mann-Whitney test. showed three had p-value < 0.05, namely line point gonion maxillary vertical right side, distance top condyle interincisal side. test two midline left line. other p-value> 0.05. There length midline, On four lines, no significant difference
